Sealy (NYSE: ZZ), the world’s largest bedding manufacturer, is helping three Greensboro, N.C., families sleep more soundly at night thanks to a recent donation. The families include four adults and eight children between them.

The Greensboro Housing Coalition, a local non-profit that advocates decent, affordable housing for low and moderate income people and those with special needs, usually doesn’t seek donations like this in its daily duties. According to the agency, though, there was a strong need for bedding among these particular families. It prompted the agency to reach out for help.

Sealy donated twelve mattress sets – three queens and eight twins – to the Greensboro Housing Coalition for the families. Sealy representatives said a great night’s rest is an important element in overall health and that the company is glad it is in a position to help these three families sleep a little better.
